Introduction
We are thrilled to announce the 91AV- Statistical Mechanics and Thermodynamics Group's symposium, dedicated to the topic "Thermodynamic Tools for Sustainable Development". This event is scheduled for 7th February, 2025, from 10 AM to 6 PM, at Department of Chemical Engineering, Imperial College London. This workshop will explore innovative thermodynamic approaches relevant to carbon capture technologies, the pharmaceutical and environmental industry, and sustainable materials development.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage in expert talks, student presentations, and interactive sessions, fostering in-depth discussions on how thermodynamic tools can be effectively applied to advance sustainable practices.
