Introduction

As the weather turns autumnal it’s the ideal time to go foraging for mushrooms. In our series of walks, Kent Local Section is organising a walk in Blean Woods this autumn. This will be an easy, spectacular, approximately 10 km walk and on mostly flat terrain. No special equipment is needed but the paths can be soggy and there is always a slight chance of rain, so waterproof walking boots/wellies and a raincoat may come handy. There are 25 places available on a first come first serve basis.
