RSC Surface Coatings Group have organised a program of talks and tour to explore the facilities and research at the Royce Institute. The meeting will take place at the Royce Hub at Manchester University but will include contributions from other Royce facilities around the country.
The Royce Institute provides industry and academia world-recognised excellence in UK materials research, accelerating commercial exploitation of innovations and delivering positive economic and societal impact for the UK.
In the initial sessions will have representatives from the Royce Institute introducing their research facilities focussed on applications in surface coatings. In parallel with tea and networking, it will be possible to take a tour of some of the equipment available in Manchester and clarify how RSC group members can access these facilities. The provisional timetable is given below:
