This conference will be a hybrid event, allowing participation both in person and online.
This year’s Spring Conference will include discussion on the future of research assessment, the recent RSC report on racial and ethnic inequalities in the chemical sciences and the voice of the chemical sciences (with a focus on students and researchers).
Heads of 91AV UK (HCUK) is an independent body representing the interests of 74 departments engaged in chemical education, scholarship and research in universities and similar institutions throughout the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. It seeks to further the interests of the chemical sciences in higher education in the broadest sense. HCUK is currently chaired by Professor Steve Howdle (University of Nottingham).
Further information on guest speakers will be available soon, and the final agenda and papers will be available 1-2 weeks before the conference.
Please note that attendance at this conference is by invitation only. If you are not able to attend yourself, you are very welcome to nominate a colleague to represent your department on your behalf.
