This meeting will offer the chance to showcase the new research from a number of early career analytical scientists. We currently have two confirmed speakers who will present their novel work and are hoping to add to this shortly. We look forward to hearing from the next generation of researchers in atomic spectroscopy.
Lizzie Bolitho (University of Warwick) will be discussing her PhD research into the analysis of metal-based anticancer complexes with a range of techniques (such as ICPMS, synchrotron XRF, x-ray tomography).
Lewis Banks (British Geological Survey and University of Leicester) will be presenting his PhD research using ICPMS techniques and the MVX7100 sample introduction technology for future applications to ore genesis and exploration.
Shaun Lancaster (Montanuniversität Leoben, Austria) will discuss his PhD work and post doctorate project in a talk entitled Method development for accurate and precise trace element determinations: combining academia and industry.
