29th International Conference on Ion Mobility Spectrometry

25 - 30 July 2021, Memphis, United States

Introduction
Welcome to the 29th International Conference on Ion Mobility Spectrometry in Memphis, Tennessee, USA.

Ion mobility spectrometry technology has grown from specialized security and military devices to high performance analytical instrumentation used in academic research and a broad field of applications; it has also become an enabling feature for mass spectrometry to measure the otherwise impossible. In the past 27 years, the annual conference of the International Society for Ion Mobility Spectrometry (ISIMS) has been serving as the essential link to a core group of ion mobility spectrometry researchers and pioneers. Once a year, we assemble to share our research achievements, new ideas, experience and joys.

The conference encompasses many technical aspects of ion mobility spectrometry, from cutting edge research to novel applications. The conference also provides unique networking opportunities for you to join and enjoy the IMS research community. In addition, the short course, which precedes the conference, gives an excellent introduction to the theory and practice of IMS to those new to the field.

The 2021 ISIMS Conference is organized by Emeritus Prof. Herbert H. Hill, Jr., Dr. C. Steve Harden and Dr. Maggie Tam.
