Introduction

In the first symposium of its kind, the ACENET ERA-NET will bring together leading academics, industrialists and research programme managers from within Europe and from world regions such as Australia, Japan, the USA and South Africa in order to examine the barriers to innovation in catalytic process technology currently existing within their regions and ways of overcoming them, with a focus on public private partnerships and their potential for international collaboration.
