First Global Summit on Green Village 2010
It is high time youths across the world make a simple effort in their neighborhood. This summit is the pre-stage of the proposed Global Youth Green Summit 2011.
SIFE Mälardalen Sweden is organizing the first summit on Green Village. The global village is a concept that will establish one GREEN initiative in one Community. This will be implemented, monitored and directed by youths.
The summit will be a two day event. The expectation is that through discussions, knowledge sharing youths around the world can find some solutions to environmental degradation.
We are expecting delegates from organizations, SIFE teams and professionals.
Main discussions will be focused on project partnership, building a network of youths on Green energy, how youths can get engaged in green life awareness, and how green initiatives can be used to minimize poverty and create jobs.
