With support from the Chemists’ Community Fund the Liverpool Local Section are hosting a Wellbeing & Resilience Workshop on Thursday 21st June, 18:00 – 21:30, in the Thornton Room at The Foresight Centre, 1 Brownlow Street, Liverpool L69 3GL.
The Workshop aims to help individuals better understand the signs and symptoms of mental ill-health and to acquire the know-how to communicate with people they are concerned about. This is not a counselling course, but it provides basic information about how to manage important first conversations, some practical skills and where to point people to relevant sources of professional help. It also offers tips on stress management and staying well.
The Workshop will be facilitated by Trevor Bell, who was awarded the Platinum Award from Mental Health First Aid England. It is open to all RSC members who have an interest in the subject or would like to have a better understanding of mental health and wellbeing. The Workshop is free of charge & a buffet supper will be provided.
The Workshop will be limited to a maximum of 30 participants. Please book your place using the Eventbrite link, the password required is: RSCwellbeing
