Prof. V.K. Rastogi started this conference series in 2006 in Meerut and subsequently it was held in Trivandrum (two times-2008, 2014), Varanasi (2010) and Mavelikara (2013). This International Conference on Vibrational Spectroscopy brings together scientists from all disciplines of vibrational spectroscopy; mid-infrared, Raman, near infrared, chemometrics, non-linear Raman spectroscopy, surface enhanced Raman scattering, vibrational circular dichroism, nanomaterials and terahertz. This conference is a common venue for exchange of ideas and understanding the different spectroscopic techniques and methods of analysis, which will give excellent opportunity to participants to broaden their capacities beyond their individual specializations. This dynamic conference is designed to nurture new emerging areas of vibrational spectroscopy by providing scientists and researchers the opportunity to interact with specialists in other sub-disciplines of vibrational spectroscopy and exchange ideas in order to advance the field and improve its impact.
