Atmospheric aerosols play a key role in the atmosphere, impacting the Earths radiative balance, acting as a reactive surface for stratospheric ozone loss and impacting human health. During the last 15 years, aerosol measurement techniques have evolved rapidly with advances in both online and offline techniques. This one day meeting, attracting delegates from both academia and industry, will provide a forum to present exciting new and existing instrumentation and discuss the challenges that still exist in aerosol science.
