** Accepting poster abstracts**
This symposium will highlight the value of chemistry and biochemistry in understanding disease and developing new therapeutics. Five of our Prize and Award winners will discuss their work ranging from chemistry-driven drug discovery, understanding the processes of infectious disease to the development of new antibiotics. We will also explore the development of new improved platforms for collaboration, such as Public Private Partnerships (PPP), which enable the research and development that is needed to better deliver the medicines of the future.
There will also be a poster session over lunch, providing a chance to share research priorities and network. Abstracts are welcomed from all disciplines to cover the following themes: lead discovery; target identification and validation; biophysical methods to support drug discovery; understanding the processes of drug resistance and generation of new antibiotics. Poster prizes will be awarded on the day.
