The aim of the Bioavailability 2014 conference is to report and discuss results of recent scientific research related to bioavailability of micronutrients and bioactive compounds. The format of the conference will be five half-day plenary sessions on bioavailability of minerals and trace elements, minor plant constituents, vitamins and pro-vitamins. Bioavailability topics to be discussed include recent progress and issues in relation to public health, biofortification, food fortification, influence of genotype, micronutrient biomarkers, dietary reference values and fortification policy. There will be poster sessions related to these topics.
