The 2014 Chemical Sciences Scotland conference will address the barriers to achieving growth within the sector, focusing strongly on sustainable manufacturing and achieving high quality skills within the industry, as well as exploring international opportunities, in terms of export, trade, and partnership working.
Delegates will hear from industry leaders on key issues, as well as hearing relevant case studies from a range of SMEs across the spectrum of the industry. The conference will also offer delegates the opportunity to access key workshops lead by organisations such as the Centre for Continuous Manufacturing and Crystallisation and the Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre.
Networking and collaboration will also be hot on the agenda, with the conference offering all delegates the opportunity to arrange prescheduled 1-2-1 partnering meetings. There will also be plenty of opportunity for ad hoc networking throughout the conference programme, and at the Wine Reception and Gala Dinner which will conclude the first day of talks.
